  2. How do I find big clients for my B2B promotional goods business?

    September 4, 2010, 4:04 am
I own a promotional goods business and I would like to know what is the best way to do business with big clients, such as established companies and institutions such as Nike, Boston Celtics, Southwest Airlines, UCLA, Staples, Coke, American Red Cross, etc. The average transaction I am aiming at would range from $1,000 to $5,000. I believe that I passive marketing tactic for doing business B2B is weak. For example, I just have my website up, and it shows up on the first page of Google for organic search listings and sponsored listings. I believe that this would be feasible for smaller clients, ranging lower than $1,000, but when the stakes get bigger, a different marketing strategy might be required. Please give me suggestions on how I can cater to the larger B2B clients. What marketing tactics should I use? Thank you so much!

  9. Can anybody tell me what song this is from a description of the video?

    August 26, 2010, 2:16 am
When I was in high school, I remember seeing this video on MTV one weekend. It was one of those weekends were they were doing a promotional thing for MTV2, so music was actually being played. I don't even remember if I liked it, but I'm curious to see it now. I don't remember much at all about the video, but it was very simple anyway. There was a guy standing in this room facing the camera & singing the song on camera for the entire duration of the video. The camera panned around the room (just rotating in a level circle), & he moved with it. There were all these things happening inside the room-- people coming in & out; I know there were balloons & a "happy birthday" banner. And I think there was some mention of "your funeral" in the song-- maybe even in the title. I could probably find it, but hey-- 10 points to whoever can find it for me. No, I'm sure it's not "Move Along". It's slightly more obscure than that. Thanks for helping though, though. :) Yeah, it definitely has "your funeral" in the title. I know what the song is, but I'll still give you 10 points if you find it anyway. Haha. Also: it is mad easy to find on google. Free 10 points, man.
